Just a note to let you all know that yes I am still here. I just have been busy trying to get ready this Thursday to go with the hubby on a business trip to Kalamazoo, MI. I know this sounds like a cold place to go to in Jan-Feb, but at least I will get a few days in a hotel room, and even get to use the pool and I don't have to cook. Hubby just thinks that I need a few days away. I highly agree.
We did do something interesting this weekend, we got a new fridge, stove and microwave, all stainless. Boy are they great. The oven is not just a gas, but also a convection oven, with a warming drawer, instead of broiling in the lower drawer you can do that right in the oven part. It also has 5 burners which is good because the middle on a gas range was a waste of space. But the really nice thing about the gas stove is it is self cleaning, yeah, I have never had a gas stove that is self-cleaning, I think that will be really great. I even have a fridge now that has ice and water in the door, welcome to 2007. I have never had one that had ice or water in the door. I really need to read the manuals and figure out all the bells and whistles on the new appliances.
I will talk to you all when I get back from Michigan and let you know if I destressed or not.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!

I survived the week and am only a little tired today. I probably wouldn't be so tired but my hubby decided to go four wheeling with his buddies and they came over about 7:30 for breakfast, that was proceeded by 3 phone calls. So needless to say I didn't get to sleep in until I was done sleeping. Mabel went home around 4 pm yesterday, and even though I am very tired and could barely stay awake through dinner last night, you start to miss them as soon as they go. She is such a sweet baby. She even went to the the hubby's docotr visit with us yesterday. Everybody was so in love with her by the time we left, they told us that every time we come to the doctors' office we have to bring her with us.
The doctor visit went ok. I wish we had gotten some better answers, than we will take more tests in April to see if things are any different, then we will decide what to do from there. The doctor did tell us not to commit to anything in April, travel wise or otherwise. So we will be sitting on pins and needles until then. Hopefully things will have improved by then. So continue to pray for us.

Have a great day!!!!!!!

Tonight I will have Mabel at about 7 and I will watch her all day tomorrow. I have set up the port a crib and I even went to the store and bought baby food, baby spoons and some new binkies. I know she will be a good girl when she is here because she is always good. She went to church on Sunday and everybody kept saying that if they hadn't have seen her sitting on my lap they never would have known she was even there. She just played with her toys, had a few snacks and was really interested in everything that was going on around her. I know she will enjoy being with mamaw for the day and I will have her again Friday. I am doing this because mom and dad have drill this weekend and they moved it up to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I will let you know how I have survived on Saturday after I have had Mabel 2 days this week. Mabel and I will get some quality mamaw and baby time this week, that is what I am looking forward to.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully things are getting back to as "normal" as they usually are around here. I finally got to spend the morning doing something that I enjoy. I went to a scrapbooking crop. I really had a good time getting out of the house and reliving the vacation we had in February, when we went to Cabo so that was really nice. I enjoyed looking at all the beach pictures, especially as I remember how nice and warm it was and how cold it has been the last couple of days. I know it is January and this is Ohio, it could be a lot worse. I am just afraid we will pay for it somewhere along the way. I am very thankful that we haven't had the ice we usually get this time of year.

The hubby is adjusting to the diet really well and he is no longer smoking, I think it has been 2 weeks since he has had a cigarette. I think he is doing great. I know it has been hard but I am very proud of him. I pray that this will take care of the cholesterol and the lungs, even though we know he will have to take medicine for the cholesterol. We go next Friday for that and to see about the rest of the aches and pains. So I will let you know how that turns out. That is the update from here. I am still trying to upload the software for my camera so I can get the pictures posted from Christmas, I will work on that this weekend and try to have pictures nest week.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!

Got word from the hubby's doctor yesterday and they say he has 2 small pulmonary nodules. They eant to check them again in april to see if they are getting any bigger. They say if they grow alot it is a sign that they could be malignant. So we will wait until april and get them checked again. Other than that things are going pretty smoothly, other than all the cleaning I have had to do since the holidays. Wow was this house dirty. I took down all the decorations yesterday, inside and out, and today I have dusted and vaccumed from top to bottom. I think that has caught me up in that department. Next week I hope to start on the New Year's resolution of a healthier hubby and me.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Continue to pray for hubby and me, we had to go to the hospital this morning and get the hubby a ct scan. When he went last Thursday to have his cardiolite stress test and a chest xray they found a spot on one of his lungs, so we are trying to figure out what it is. I know that he is scared but I hope he knows how much I Love Him. I just pray that what ever it is, is treatable and he doesn't have to go through too muh. We will now wait on the test results, which hopefully won't take too long.

Thanks for your prayers.
