Well here is an update for everyone. April has officially moved back home as of this past Saturday. The boyfriend and I moved her in about 2 hours. Jay and I did all the heavy lifting and toting while April just put all the boxes in her car. I was surprised it went as smoothly as it did. Of course the hubby was no where to be found, actually he left Friday to go to southern Ohio so he could go four wheeling, he will be back sometime on Wednesday. I hope he is having fun and not hurting himself, because little does he know we will be cleaning the basement when he returns.
I also put the Christmas lights on the little trees we have on the porches, so at least I have started on the Christmas decorations. I thought I would do the outside stuff since it is so nice outside here right now. I think yesterday was in the low 60's. I just don't know how long this weather will last and I am trying to take advantage of it before we get bombarded with the white stuff. I just like that for the holidays. Well off to finish making my Christmas cards.

Have a great day

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!

Today is the day to say thanks for all the things God has done for us all year long and I would like to take this opportunity to do so:

My husband who is so good to me.
My children.
My grandchildren.
My friends.
My health.
The ability to pay my bills.
The ability to share with others.
And most of all for sending His Son.
May all of you be blessed and take time to remember what you are truly thankful for and to thank the One who gave them to you.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!

Things here have settled down from last week. Michelle and Mabel went back home, the baby was so good while she was here. Mamaw and her really bonded. We went thursday and had her pictures taken for Christmas, I will try to post them as soon as we get them back. She was so cute in her dress and matching hair bow. We had a little problem getting her to smile, but finally she warmed up and we got some really cute pictures.
April should be all moved in on the weekend afer Thanksgiving, I will be going to her place and moving the big stuff, bed, dresser, etc. I think us girls can handle it, since the hubby is going 4 wheeling that weekend. At least the dog is going to the kennel and I will have some free time to work on my Chrismas cards and get some scrapbooking done. That is all that has been happening here. I will try to post about Thanksgiving later in the week.
As for now I really have to get moving on all the cooking I have to do this week, so much cooking so little time.

Have a great day

Looks like it will be an interesting week for the hubby and me. Michelle is staying with us while her boyfriend is in Wis. for some training the Army. That means we have Michelle and Mabel here until Thursday night. Right now Mabel is in the living room on the floor taking a nap. We just got done giving her a bath and making her smell good. This weekend might get real interesting, because April might pick this weekend to finish moving back. Boy will that be a lot for one weekend or not? I hope it won't be as stressful as last time. I guess I will just have to spend all my time with the baby. I will let you all know how this works out.

Have a great day!!!!!!!

Mabel Rose!!!!!!!!

Here are the pictures of Mabel from Halloween. Sorry it took so long to get them on the blog site, but the hubby downloaded them on to his computer and he took it with him. I think she is the cutest sunflower ever. How about you guys?
By the way she stayed with us on Friday night so mommy and daddy could go to drill, I hope we spoiled her enough to at least last a week. She was very good and we got to spend some quality mamaw and baby time together. Too bad we couldn't have the grandkids first and then decide if we want kids.
