The hubby and I went ot SCI in Detroit this weekend, if you don't know what this is, it is a big event that combines alot of hunting vendors that do hunting trips and they also auction off hunting trips and different kinds of items, jewelry, furs etc. We had a great time and came home with a little less money in our pockets. The biggest investment we made is a 7 week old chocolate lab, named Dundee. That's right we have a puppy in the house. Which means not much sleep the paast 2 nights and I am sure that will continue for a while. I hope the housebreaking doesn't take too much longer, oops had to take Dundee outside. He is a pretty good pup, I am just waiting for the day he responds to his name. I also hope that we can survive the puppy stage. Wish us luck.

I thought I would let everyone know that visits my site, that yes I am a grandma again, Hunter Marie Collins, was born February 16th at 7:37 am, she weighed 6lbs. 9ozs. and was 19" long. She had a rough start of things and was in the special care nursery for about 9 hours due to some breathing problems caused by all of the fluid not being expelled from her lungs, due to the c-section. About 4:00pm she was brought out of the special nursery and everyone got to hold her, pictures are posted at april's site and you can read all the gory details at michelle's site so you can go over to their sites and take a look. I will try to get more pictures posted as time goes on.

Please remember Updates on my soldiers blogger, Cathy, on the death of her son Dave. Pray for them and send them your love.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know most people think this is just a hallmark holiday and you may be right but I like to think it is a special day set aside to honor those we love. I hope you all will take sometime today to do just that. My hubby is not home today, but he made sure I knew he loved me before he left, a dinner out some really beautiful jewelry and some time alone. He is the absolute best. Honey I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH.
So take some time today and let everyone you love know how you feel about them.

Things have finally settled down here, Thank God. Michelle is back at work and now she works days, that is a good thing. She really isn't home much anymore which is kind of sad, but hey she is happy and that is what counts.
The hubby is gone this week, listen to this, out of the next 12days he will only be home for 2 of those. He doesn't travel and then he is gone all the time. I know he will be tired when he gets back so I hope things go smoothly.
April is doing good in her new apartment and is looking for a new job. Still haven't heard how the divorce proceedings are going and at this point all I can say is thank God it is not my problem to deal with.
Everything else is going pretty good. I have 10 pounds to go before the 22nd of March, have had to change a few things in the routine in order to speed this up, I had reached a plateau and that can be frustrating. Hopefully this will work. I know life here is pretty boring now and I kind of like it that way. After the past year I could use a little boredom. I hope everyone has a great day
