Three Years.
Today has been three years since Michelle and Gavin ran over an IED and Gavin was killed. I just can't believe how fast time flies. I am praying for his family for I know his mother still feels the lost everyday. I thought at first that I would never stop thinking about him every day, but as time goes by I think of him less and less. I know that that is a bad thing and I really should try harder to pray for his family every day. Michelle is still dealing with the things that happened to her while she was in Iraq. The Army is very slow when it comes to dealing out money. I hope she hears something soon. I know that the war is less and less in the news and I really think that that is a bad thing. I will take this time to say please remember our troops and their families as this is still a reality for them even if we don't hear about it all the time.
Gavin you are still missed and always will be!

Hot Tub!!!!!!
Tomorrow is hot tub day!! Finally after all the work and waiting the hot tub should be here between 12 and 2. I can't wait!!!!! We probably will not be able to use it until Saturday night, because the water will not be hot enough tomorrow to use it. It is just in time for the hubby's birthday on Saturday. We are having everyone over for lasagna and birthday cake. Then it will be hot tub for hubby and me. In fact he is outside right now finishing the railing and the steps. What a good hubby!!!!!!!!!
Everyone have a great weekend!!!!!!!

Great Weekend!!!!!!!!
The weekend was great here, the weather was perfected and I am happy to say that the Hubby and I spent the better part of the weekend outside. The only down side to that is that it was working. The hot tub will be delivered on Friday, so Hubby was finishing up all that he could do before it gets here. I on the other hand was busy cleaning, and trying to fix up the houseplants for the coming season. The dogs were also enjoying being out more and that was a whole net set of work. They really get dirty rolling around in the yard. I hope this is a sign of things to come and the weather holds out. Hope all had a great weekend where you are.
I am also posting an update on my sister. The tumor has only shrunk to one-third of the size it was. Which means more chemo. This will be stronger than the last she had, she will get one treatment and then have a three week wait until the next treatment and there will be 5 treatments in all. They also told her she will be sick for at least 10 days after. I think the 3 weeks in between will be a help. She is very down right now and asked for everyone to pray for her. I also tried to remind her that she made it through the other chemo and she will make it through this one. Please pray for her!
Have a great week!!!!!!
