I finally got the pictures form the vacation from the hubby, so I will try to post them and give you a glimpse of the fun we had on vacation. This is how we traveled the 28 hours out to South Dakota. Of course we stayed at the free Holiday Inns on the way out. This is also a picture of the coolest temp we had while we were gone:














We made a lot of stops on the way, especially at roadside rests and boy do the ones out there put ours to shame, they are well maintained and always have someone on duty to help with information, this one even had exhibits to view:














The rest of the pictures I am loading are of all the sites we visited, Mount Rushmore, Devil's Tower, the Badlands, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. It really made my day when we finally got to see the Buffalo!!!!!!!!!

I think my hubby enjoyed all the bikes the most, everywhere we went there were at least a couple thousand bikes. Even if the town wasn't really a town, we saw a lot of those, everybody just sort of pitched a tent by the side of the road and sold burgers and beer:






































All in all we had a great trip and saw some awesome sites. Some of them not acceptable to post of this site. The west is a great place to vacation, but my hubby said next time we might fly. If you ever get a chance to head out that way go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
